Charge-air lines — compressor to intercooler to stack inlet
Silicone Hose & FKM Lined Composite Hose
−40…+180 °C silicone · FKM-lined composite · ≥ 8 barg burst

Overview
Two flexible hose constructions for fuel-cell balance of plant. The silicone hose uses a platinum-cured silicone liner with polyester reinforcement for charge-air and general coolant runs; the FKM lined composite hose adds a fluorocarbon liner for media that the silicone grade cannot tolerate. Both are built from imported raw material, multi-layer reinforced, and supplied cut to length.
Key features
- Imported silicone and FKM compounds
- Size and length on request, cut to the length the routing needs
- Wide temperature range — −40 °C up to +180 °C for the silicone grade
- Multi-layer reinforcement, at least two polyester layers, burst-proof
- Electrically insulating, flame-retardant compound

Ordering: state bore diameter, total length and the fittings at both ends, plus the medium and working temperature so the liner grade can be confirmed. Both constructions are rated ≥ 8 barg burst; confirm the working pressure and safety factor at order.

Cooling architecture and the insulation question
Why the coolant loop and the electrical barrier must be designed together, and which components keep them apart.
What a fuel cell stack expects from its balance of plant
A stack presents four interfaces — hydrogen, air, coolant and DC bus. Match each one with the right parts and integration gets much simpler.
Isolated DC-DC first, then the coolant piping
The 100 Ω/V and 500 Ω/V rules come from touch-safety limits, not from the converter. Worked numbers for a 500 V stack on an 800 V bus, and what they mean for hose length and rigid tube.
