Fuel-cell forklifts and material handling
Fuel Cell Compressor
Oil-free air supply · 9 models · 0–320 kW stack power

Overview
The compressor sets the cathode pressure and air flow, and with them the power density the stack can reach. Air bearings take the oil system out of the air path, so what leaves the compressor is clean. Nine models cover 0–320 kW of stack power, with or without an integrated exhaust turbine. Compressor, motor and controller are supplied as one matched unit.
Key features
- Oil-free running — no oil carry-over into the cathode air, no oil change in service
- PMSM and inverter sized together for fast load following
- XT-FCTC range adds a turbine on the same shaft to recover exhaust energy
- One design carried from prototype build into series production

Standard parameters give the rated air flow in Nm³/h and in g/s at the stated pressure ratio. The model number states the rated air flow: FCC120 = 120 Nm³/h, FCTC380 = 380 Nm³/h. Confirm the stack flow map, ambient conditions and turbine configuration against the project data sheet before ordering.

What a fuel cell stack expects from its balance of plant
A stack presents four interfaces — hydrogen, air, coolant and DC bus. Match each one with the right parts and integration gets much simpler.
