Coolant Particle Filter

SUS316L screen · 125 μm · −40…+100 °C

Coolant particle filter, 125 μm screen
Coolant particle filter, 125 μm screen

Overview

A stainless-steel screen filter fitted in the coolant line to take fine particles out of the loop before they reach the stack or the cooler. The 316L screen holds contamination down to 125 μm at a pressure drop of a few kPa, and the body is compatible with water-glycol coolant over −40 °C to +100 °C.

Key features

  • Working range −40 °C to +100 °C
  • Large dirt-holding capacity, low pressure drop
  • SUS316L corrosion-resistant stainless steel screen
  • Compatible with ethylene-glycol heat transfer fluids
  • Simple to install in the line

Where it is used

Fitted on the coolant return line, upstream of the pump or stack inlet

Keeps the radiator core and stack channels free of debris

Isolated DC-DC first, then the coolant piping

The 100 Ω/V and 500 Ω/V rules come from touch-safety limits, not from the converter. Worked numbers for a 500 V stack on an 800 V bus, and what they mean for hose length and rigid tube.
